Roaming around in the spiritual land of Bangladesh (South Asia) Karishma Choudhury started to express her magical stories in the television advertising industry in Dhaka for thirteen years starting as a casting director to assistant director. She worked as a fashion film producer too.
Her thirst for big-screen motivated her to direct and produce fiction and documentaries. Eventually, she moved to Paris to study Bachelor of cinema. In the birth land of cinema, she is capturing moving images as a cinematographer and director to tell stories.
Her directed films have been screened at various film festivals in Bangladesh, England, France, Australia, USA, and Ireland. As a cinematographer, her film Boiled Eggs won the Best Film Award in Italy at the MonFilmFest at Casale-Monferrato.
She is living in Paris doing her Masters of cinema at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
